Homegrown is hosted by Rock Babe Suzanne Tonaire and has been recognized for Excellence in Broadcasting by the Massachusetts Broadcasters Association. The show airs on Sunday nights from 8pm-10pm and plays the following genres: Rock, Pop, Reggae, Folk, Acoustic, Metal, New Age, and Christian Rock.
It is the longest running local music show of it’s kind in the Mass and Southeastern New England area. January 2007 marks our 20th year of the Homegrown Show! Through the years we have conducted a number of “battle of the bands’ - where local bands have actually booked gigs from their exposure. PIXY 103’s Homegrown show is proud to be one of the very few radio stations in the Boston area who supported acts like Godsmack and Staind BEFORE they hit it big!
